About Us

Your Advertiser is a free community paper dedicated to connecting local businesses and residents across Lebanon Valley and surrounding areas.

Our Mission

We strive to connect businesses with consumers in order to help them grow and thrive in their communities. Our mission is to provide area businesses with a quality print advertising option at a reasonable cost while giving community members a free, enjoyable source of businesses information each week.

History & Roots

In late December 2023, after 73 years of publication, the Greater Lebanon Valley’s longtime community paper, The Merchandiser, abruptly and permanently ceased operations. Recognizing the continued need for a reliable print advertising outlet and a trusted source for local information such as community events, dining, retail specials, obituaries, and yard sales—Angela DeSendi-Kriner, a former employee of The Merchandiser, took the suggestion of a coworker and set out to fill the void.

Within just a few weeks, the business was established, advertising secured, and distribution locations arranged. On January 23, 2024, the very first issue of Your Advertiser was published.

By the six-month anniversary, the paper had expanded from a 12-page publication available at 36 locations to a 40-page paper distributed in over 180 locations across five counties. The company’s growth paralleled that success—expanding from a team of three to thirteen, including new sales, circulation, administrative, and design staff.

As Your Advertiser prepares to celebrate its second full year, it continues to grow and gain popularity with both readers and advertisers—now available in more than 250 locations and still proudly dedicated to serving the community.
